Swiss Roll

Easier than you may think - give this swiss roll recipe a go!

What you will need:

3 large eggs
50g plain flour
75g caster sugar
25g cocoa powder
125g icing sugar
120ml whipping cream

What you need to do:

1. Grease a large baking tray and set the oven to Gas Mark 6/200c (Fan Oven 220c).

2. Bring a large pan of water to the boil and place a large bowl over it. Add the sugar and eggs to the bowl and whisk.

3. Add your flour and cocoa powder to create a thick mixture.

4. After adding your cake mix to the baking tray, bake for 10 minutes. The cake should now have that recognisable sponge texture.

5. Place on a wire rack to cool.

6. Whip the whipping cream until thick. Add in the icing sugar to give it a sweet taste.

7. Spread over the cooled sponge.

8. Slowly, roll the sponge tightly creating the famous roll.
