April meeting/40th Anniversary

On wednesday April 26th we celebrated the Guild being 40 years. We were joined by two members from south staffordshire federation Pat Hodgets and Karen Da'Casto. Six members have served 40 years and were presented with a card and certificate and two members had served 30 years also being presented with a card and certificate. Barbara Canning our group secretary made and decorated a fruit cake which was very tasty, and went down well with the bucks fizz. A cheque was presented to Claire Wilcox for the MS therapy Group in Wolverhampton for £1,000. Every member of the Chasetown Guild received a gift from the committee, this was a beautiful scarf in pale green with a tree of life design.
