Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting and details of Special Resolution

The meeting has been called to vote on the Special Resolution as detailed below.

Special Resolution
To nominate The Fawcett Society (Charity No 1108769) as the recipient of any residual funds remaining after all its debts and liabilities have been satisfied and prior to being struck off the Register of Companies The Fawcett Society (Charity No 1108769) being a charitable organization which has objects similar to the Objects of Townswomen’s Guilds.

Note
If Company Members fail to nominate a charity, under clause 45.2.1 a charity will be nominated by the Charity Commission.
