Hednesford Afternoon Guild New members and visitors, can be assured of a warm welcome to our guild, part of the South Staffs Federation, which meets at 2pm on the 2nd Monday of every month at St Peters Church hall, Church hill, Hednesford.

We are a small (about 25) friendly group, mostly retirees, from a wide variety of backgrounds with diverse interests who enjoy meeting together to be treated to an interesting and/or informative speaker as well as a cup of tea and a chat. As a group we also enjoy day trips to places of interest, both local and national. In recent years this has included the National carol service in Birningham and various venues where Lesley Smith recreates prominent Historical Ladies ; some members have also enjoyed shared holidays. Our Chair Val has recently started a craft group which meets twice a month at her house. A variety of craft items have been made with a view to selling for guild funds and a Charity. There is a Luncheon club which meets usually on the third Wednesday at venues recommended by members.
