Freshwater Tennyson Townwomen's Guild are a group of ladies of all ages who meet for friendship and fun.

1) We have this by holding monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month from 2-4pm at Freshwater Methodist Church. We start the meeting with notices then welcome our speaker. We have a wide and varied programme of speakers throughout the year. We also have a sales table, raffle and refreshments at these meetings.

2) On the second Monday of the month we have our crafting ToGether session from 2-4pm at Freshwater Methodist Church.We encourage members to bring along a craft project they are working on and enjoy a natter and a cuppa. There is usually a group project for members to help with as well.

3) On the second Wednesday of the month we enjoy 'Legs & Lunches'. This is a walk, with a coffee break, followed by lunch at a local pub or cafe. Some of our members just meet for lunch.

4) Our Third Tuesday Book Club has ten members who meet up to discuss the latest group book.

5) We also arrange visits to local theatres and have regular outings. On the first Wednesday in July instead of our regular meeting we have a day trip. This year we are going to Exbury Gardens.

6} As members of the Isle of Wight Federation of Townswomen's Guilds we attend and participate in various events and outings, such as TG Together Day, Quiz, Craft events, TG does Christmas event.

7) We have a monthly newsletter as a means of informing our mrmbers of forthcoming events and member news.
