More Information On This Social Group

We are a sociable, talkative, happy, helpful, lively, welcoming group.  A speaker at one of our meetings once said, "This is the maddest group I have ever been to!" - but he said it in the nicest possible way.

We educate our members by inviting interesting speakers to our meetings.  We have quiz nights from time to time and games nights.  At least once a year we invite members from other Guilds to join us for food and entertainment.

The group enjoys outings and looks forward eagerly to sampling local hostelries.

We attend National events such as the General Knowledge Quiz, AGM, Carol services and International Women's day.

It is the Guilds 40th Birthday in 2027 so we look forward to celebrating!
