South West Wales Federation is very widespread. The nine guilds cover most of South and West Wales with the farthest away taking a train ride of two and a half hours in order to attend a meeting.

These nine guilds from Baglan, Clydach, Gorseinon, Haverfordwest, Morriston, Pembroke, Pontardaw, Port Talbot and Tenby (because they are so widespread) depend on the Federation to organise the events which keep them all in touch and give them competitions to work for.

The Federation has a membership of almost 300 and to keep these ladies interested the Federation Committee works very hard to promote the friendship and loyalty which is needed to create a worthwhile organisation.

Four events are held each year. The AGM and the Carol Festival are annual events while the Drama/Music festivals are held on alternate years together with the Quiz which is also a very popular event.
