Sometimes reading the news or watching television leads us to think that the world is a dangerous place. In fact, in spite of the occasional horrendous case it is young men who are most at risk of street crime.

Your local Community Safety Team (contacted via your Council) will be able to direct you to crime prevention advice and may even provide a speaker for a Guild meeting.

It does seem to be a Golden Age for Scammers and Confidence Tricksters though: follow these links to find out more about common scams and tricks.
