We look forward to welcoming many members and non-members to our special event for International Women’s Day.

Come and celebrate women from all around the world with fellow Townswomen and friends.

We will have three speakers and we look forward to hearing from the following inspiring women:

Jane Robinson who is an acclaimed author and public speaker who specialises in social history through women’s eyes.
She will talk about her book Hearts and Minds and the amazing campaigners from the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies.

Val Leivers a former deputy head teacher, will talk about teaching in a prison, being a Trustee of the charity Headway, and her work in India with the country's poorest people.

Shirley Wormsley will talk about her work with Derby Street Pastors.
