Birmingham Federation

More Information

Birmingham Federation Council meet four times a year at The Friends Meeting House, Bull Street, Birmingham. A wide variety of activities are available for their Guilds to join others from around the area.

This year we have our annual dinner in May with our speaker Judith Hibbert, who has worked extensively in theatre and T.G. Judith will play affectionate tributes to Julie Andrews, Joyce Grenfell, Gracie Fields, Victoria Woods, Julie Waters and many more. Our annual inter Guild general knowledge quiz will be held in October, together with our Christmas Concert and visits. In November our biannual event this year entitled ‘Once Upon a Time’ will be held with Sue Cadman, the original Les Dawson’s Roly Poly giving us an hilarious series of anecdotes about her life. Following lunch we have the History Wardrobe presenting ‘Fairytale Fashions’ exploring the magical clothes from Red Riding Hood, through to Cinderella and other princess dresses. This event is open to all Guild ladies and their friends.
