We are a small, friendly Guild who enjoy seeing one another each month and sometimes in between.

We can be serious when we need to be, but have been known to laugh so loudly that people look to see what we are up to. 'The day we stop enjoying meeting one another and stop laughing is the day I stop coming', is a quote from a long-standing member. We often stay beyond the end of our meeting time as we are so busy chatting to one-another.

Our varied programme meets the needs of our curious group who love to find out about things which are new to them. It includes listening to local speakers, sharing food at our annual strawberry tea and harvest supper, having a go at a new craft once a year and being highly competitive in games and quizzes. We are always ready to have a go at something new and members offer suggestions to keep our programme lively and interesting. At the moment we are meeting in cafes in locations which can be reached by public transport and are looking for a permanent meeting place.  We do not meet in January.
